So, this happened:

Jag: Dammit Richard Armitage that voice is not fair to my ovaries.
Jag: Also now I want to watch that Robin Hood again that was ever increasingly godawful.
Jag: Starting with the fact that Marian had more chemistry with Gisbourne than anyone, which shouldn't be.

lireavue: YES. It was just _wrong._ And yet.

lireavue: I hear North and South is very good?
Jag: It's the smouldering.
Jag: He smoulders very very well. Ooh.

lireavue: I refuse to watch Spooks, on account of all the angst ever.
Jag: It's like someone set him on fire years ago and he's still smouldering.
Jag: I think I've seen maybe one episode ever.

lireavue: ...well, that's appropriate for a dwarf, he's a coal seam.

Yeah. Damn you, Richard "Centralia" Armitage. This is my new name for him.

I got nothing. Still wiping everything ever down with vinegar. Still cleaning everything ever, and unpacking. Need to get back to writing NYR's, but last night was a blog essay which should go up in an hour or two, so there's that. My vanity came! Now we just have to haul the pieces upstairs and put it all together. Also the boy got a big box of baking soda and now I can't remember what the frell I was going to clean with it. The bathtub, maybe? Does baking soda work well on plastic bathtubs? (I'm assuming so, anyway.) I do still need baking POWDER for strategic biscuit purposes, but since he already forgot the cooking oil and there wasn't any drinkable frozen juice (apparently the only stuff they had was, and I quote, "some blue thing") we'll just walk/drive up to the store over the weekend. Besides, I made cornbread for breakfast because I didn't have milk for my cereal. (It walked in the door a few minutes later.)

Things and stuff. I'm back to being poorish again, which should ease up soon, but it's the whole augh holy shit I just had a ton of money and then I spent it all augh flailing. I hate that flailing, but there's not much to be done about it and it's not like we didn't half-need the stuff anyway. I say half-need because while I damn well needed a dresser and we could use a nightstand, we didn't need the couch or living room stuff. But we were going to spend that money anyway, so now we have. The other icky thing is that for reasons beyond my understanding having to do with the efficiency of the government (or lack thereof) the boy doesn't get paid again till February. YAY. NOT.

But, savings. We has still some. Can use if necessary. And in the meantime, bills are paid, heat is on, food is in the fridge, and life is good.

God I could use to sell some stories, though.

Eh, Pixie will move in and be paying rent come February, so that'll be good, too. In the meantime, cleaning and unpacking. Getting back into routines, studying the languages, exercising. I get my dance shoes today! Which means no more trying to do dance exercises in my slippers or socks or bare feet on hardwood floor! Which is good 'cause I miss having traction. I don't miss anything else about the carpet, but I miss having traction. Um. What the hell else did I have to blather at you about today. I don't think anything, although I need to go over to my Courtesan School year/end post and figure out what else I need to check/schedule. Till then, I suppose, it's writing and blogging and things like that.
