So. The preposition 'ar' or 'on' is used in stating the time at which something happens, as well as referring to days of the week in a general sense. 'Ag' or 'at' is used with other expressions of time.

Téim ag snámh ar a sé a chlog. At six o'clock I go swimming.

Téim abhaile ag an deireadh seachtain. At weekends I go home.
Téim abhaile ag meánoíche. I go home at midnight.
Téim abhaile ag meánlae. I go home at midday.
ag am lóin. At lunchtime
ag am dinnéir. At dinnertime.
ag an Nollaigh. At Christmas.
ag an gCáisc. At Easter.

Well, that was an aborted effort at cleaning out the koi pond of weeds. Because at first it gave us all kinds of stickers, and then it gave us bees from the ground! Which is so much less desireable than food from the ground. Which I may or may not be able to achieve, at this rate, because I poked at my jade cuttings this weekend and right now I have... jade cuttings in dirt. Between this and the forget-me-nots that never were, I am finding it seriously difficult to believe I can grow anything. It's not so much that I kill things as just that they never grow. I know, in time, this too shall pass. And I'm going to put them in something that is not a plastic cup full of dirt tonight, and ignore them but for watering every ten days like you're supposed to all winter, and maybe I'll have a jade plant for spring? It's just incredibly disheartening. I may, on the next Home Depot trip, see if there's something in a seedling or something I can stick on the back patio where it can get plenty of sun and no inclement weather, and see if I can grow that. Start small, right? Not from seeds which may or may not even be viable (they were handed out free at a pet store, so yeah) or cuttings, which I understand are a pain in the ass. Otherwise, ugh, fuck everything, grocery store forever.

On the plus side, Murderboarding seems to be going well? And by seems to be going well I mean holy crap we got how many hits on Sunday? And we're already almost at our daily average today. I would dearly like to know what happened so we can duplicate it, but it seems to be mostly a matter of timing. Which is a little difficult to duplicate, but not terribly much. Ah well.

And in what the fuck did I just watch news... a cat meowing the Star Wars theme.

So. Um. Today's thing, I guess, will be getting this shipping done if people will ever stop being idiots at me long enough for me to get anything done, and then work on some of these WIPs. I think I can manage that. Today, at long last, maybe I can finish this other Loki/Darcy! And then back to the Supernatural thing I've let sit for, heh, nine months. Christ. That thing could probably use a rewrite to make it a little more consistent, at this rate. Along with this toehr thing I meant to rewrite. Argh. Too many things to do. Not enough time, now. Or at least, much less time since the house buying crap took up most of my year. But now THAT'S DONE. YAY.

ETA: Muslim clerics denouncing the recent anti-that-film/anti-Western violence, which is a beautiful thing.
