4. Wie lange durftest du abends ausbleiben? Ich durfte bis ... zehn Uhr abends ausbleiben?
5. Um wie viel Uhr musstest du ins Bett gehen? Ich musste am Mitternacht ins Bett gehen.
6. Konntest du machen, was du wolltest? Ich wollte ins Theatre in New York gehen.
7. Was durftest du nicht machen? Ich durfte nicht ... something. I can't think of much that I wasn't allowed to do that I wanted to do.
8. Was wolltest du werden, als du ein Kind warst? Ich wollte eine Tänzerin für die Bolshoi werden.



Apparently learning Russian works well when I combine some nouns and adverbs and such that I learn on Memrise with conjugating verbs I learn. This is made funnier by the fact that the verbs I was having trouble with were 'to lift' and 'to take away', and the noun I just learned is "weapon." Meaning I just wrote out I take up arms against Loki, She takes up arms against Loki, I take his weapons You take his weapons... in a notebook. And now I remember words. Hoo boy.

Saw Dark Shadows. Kind of wish I hadn't, but on the other hand I cracked up every time Jackie Earle Haley was on screen. I think this would probably happen less in a movie I enjoyed more, but I couldn't help seeing him as Jackie playing a part rather than as the character in the story. It doesn't help that Jackie seems to at least be making a habit of tagging my tweets to him just by way of saying, hey, read your tweet, how's it going, still recognize you. Or something. Saying hi? He doesn't tweet back people nearly as much as he used to, but ... Oh, hell, I don't know. But it's still weird having him there and paying attention. Along with all the other randomass celebrity type people. Mostly authors, but still.

... and when the hell did it get to be bedtime while I was dicking around with languages? Ah well.
