Not really. But I am in fact the queen of highlights and shadows. Spent five... maybe six, I don't know... hours yesterday working on two fucking... ogre like things. That I'd bought for one dollar at a local comics shop to practice said painting skills. And guess what? I did it. Nyah. It's not as good as it could be, the top two coats were a little too light, but it's damn good for my first try. Today I touch up the last few bits and seal 'em and glue 'em into bases. And paint the loincloths. And try and figure out if the one ogre like thingie actually has a loincloth or if I'm not hallucinating and all he has is a breastplate made of wood pipes. 'cause, ogre cock? Not what I want to see.
And in TM news, the Sorcerer made KITT cry. Or almost. Has? I don't know. A good kind of cry, lest those few of you who are on TM come and try to beat him up (I've tried, it doesn't work, I've even thrown him through windows), but still. I'm beginning to think he could make the Baby Jesus cry. Then again, according to Schwa, it doesn't take much to make the Baby Jesus cry. But yeah. He's got KITT now. And is going to kill something if Daniel doesn't come back on schedule.
Blah. Not much else to talk about. Writing happens. Have mislaid all notes for my convention with crazy detectives fic, which is annoying the piss out of me. LXG fans are also annoying. Must kill.
LJ is still being sloppy about notifications. As I have like... ten threads going on at once (like any good TM roleplayer, and I only have one damn character!) this is annoying to the level of a thousand smurfs all singing the Bloodhound Gang.
Went for walkies. Am surprisingly less sweaty than I thought I would be. Should have gone for two laps.
Diablo 2 time while I wait for TMers to reply, the inclination to finish those ogres, or the bf to wake up.
ETA: KITT is so screwed. :) But hopefully in a better way. Mike is so funny. And I am so dizzy, which is going to really cramp my style now that I've started painting for the day. GRR!
