We tried getting them to fix it already. Twice. :/ I'm not sure if the selling bank overall is being a mulish sack of crap or if it's just the one rep, but they are refusing to do anything and they keep trying to demand immediate responses unless we yell at them, basically.

The heating system as it currently stands is fucked. But yeah, I need to price out forced air systems and possibly ask about split level systems, that's on my to-do list for this week. Still, with just the one major problem that is, thankfully, within our budget. A new boiler would, according to the estimates we've gotten so far, be about 2k-2500, but that doesn't include replacing all the radiators and making sure none of the pipes leading to it are cracked, etc etc. So, um. Forced air. Thankfully the architecture is very open and the ductwork doesn't need to be complicated at all.

Um. *thinks* And I have a list of small fixes that are getting marked either "hire someone in" (like the brickwork in the front, unless one of my uncles actually knows about masonry too) and "find a willing uncle to show me how." And, of course, the "honey-do" list, as I believe it's called.
