*hugs* Thanks. And YES. Rrrgh strangulation and non-lethal dysentery upon them. Though on the plus side I have managed to find a plumber recommended by the Elf Lord to come out and go "There's your problem" (hopefully) on Monday! Stupid uncertainties.
