А вот фотография семьи. Папа у них экономист. Его зовут Виктор (русское имя!). Маму зовут Антония. Она юрист. У них сын Роб и дочь Анна. Роб в университете. Анна в школе в 12-ом классе. У них ещё собака Рокси.

Комната у меня красивая. Стены белые. Окна большие. Всё отлично! Завтра регистрация в университете.

And then there's a bunch of comprehension questions I won't bother understanding because I just translated all of that cold without looking anything up besides in the annotations holy shit.


Tired, tired, tired. All the tired. Did manage to get my HBB out on time last night, managed to work some on the OBB draft, got all my words done and even did some 750 words. Even if they were crappy words, I want to go back and redo that section.

Also had a funny episode in which every damn nail clippers in my house became either a guitar pick or a pack of dice. I have no idea how that happened. I went to pick up my guitar again for the first time in three or four days, realized my talons were a bit long, went to grab the one in my guitar case? Guitar pick. Went to find the one on the table? Guitar pick. Went to find the one by my desk? Pack of dice. It was like being in some bizarre alternate universe where instead of all your music turning into Best of Queen albums, all my small useful items turned into guitar picks.

Oh, damn, there were supposed to be pictures. And I can't photoedit at work. When I get home then.

Also, best description ever. "I feel like I just got hit on by Jeff Bridges trying to sell a Hyundai." I have no idea what I'm going to use it for or even what it means, but it's kind of awesome. Jeff Bridges does have a certain voice. I've never found him terribly pants-wettingly sexy, but I want to burrow in against him and give and get all the hugs ever. Kind of adorable.

Right. I have all my documents online or in their dropbox, I have frost on the cars outside argh. But I also have electricity and no snow on the ground, so I can't complain all that much. I have no shopping list for fruits or veggies this week because I have all the chopped veggies ever in the freezer and no need for any more spices at the moment. I do need to refill the oregano jar, bother. I have... suddenly a much less pressing need to get my butt out the door because my carpool has a flat tire and we're not going anywhere for a bit. Huh.

Extra writing time, I guess? Ooh, wait, no! Uploading the picture of Old and Busted and New Hotness!
