cruelest_month is over! We're wandering around and talking about our stories and it's so much fun. I've missed her so much... this is the coolest thing... aaaah! I'm completely losing my mind, and it's so wonderful. Go me!
We spent the better part of last night making a blurty journal for a bunch of our characters... soooo very sad. It's over here for the curious. It's all about Daniel, Sebastian, Merry, Dennis, and Bridgit in a house together... it's like the Real World, only in our heads. So maybe it's the Unreal World. Anyway. Merry and Sebastian are from a fanfic... actually from a couple fandoms. And Dennis. Dennis is the Dennis from 13 Ghosts. Sebastian is a character from Babylon 5. Merry is my own creation, daughter of Sebastian and another one of my creations who ... oh, that's a hell of a long story. Bridgit and Daniel are original characters by April... Bridgit was created for Sebastian and Daniel...
Ah, Daniel. Daniel is absolutely adorable. The best of her characters (and now all the rest of them are going to gang up on me).
Anyway, go read the blurty. It's absolutely hilarious. You've got this nigh-immortal-through-excessive-blood-magic Victorian gentleman who used to be Jack the Ripper. A librarian who's half-faerie and bakes cookies, cheerful as a 50s television housewife and lives in the cutest little house with only two rooms and lots of unicorns. It's like that teacher from Matilda. A witch (the daughter of Jack the Ripper) with empathy-abilities coming out of her ears and a tendency to have pillow-fights and spread cookie dough over people's hair, who reads tarot cards for a living and may have inherited the Jack the Ripper homicidal tendencies to see murder as a solution. A psychic telepath/reader who sees ghosts and gets impressions from everyone and everything he touches that lead to fits, siezures, and migraines... although he's slowly getting better. And a high school English teacher with a beautiful talent for playing the piano, a paralyzing fear of the dark, and too many magical abilities for his own good, who was traumatized by his mother into a quivering heap and only now discovering that family can be a good thing.
Yeah. It's the Unreal World. Reality ... writing? At its weirdest.
And meantime we've been writing other stuff too, like thedark_glory pirate slash stuff and some LXG weirdness and ... well, yeah.
