That and the practical stuff depends largely on everyone knowing what everyone else is doing, so if someone drops the ball it tends to snowball very quickly.

I don't mind Shia so much. Not much of a Megan Fox fan - is it just me or does the woman put out the most epic bitch vibes? - though. In fact, most female characters in those sort of movies tend to be terribly flat, personality-wise. Which is unfortunate.
