Also hm. Not sure I can be impartial about Kindles - since a) Amazon is and has been a douchenozzle with the DRM etc. regarding them and b) i'm not sure they've fixed the problem of it having no backlight. I know the Nook Color has a backlight. But that may be less of an issue for you than me.
