Argh. I need to stop checking my e-mail every time I come downstairs. I need to just plant my butt in my computer chair and edit the damn novels. Although without the cat in the chair. Every time I come down to get something and then go back up there she's taken over my chair again. I think I also need another chair. One specifically for cats. Silly Gretchen.

I so fail Nanoedmo. I really ... it's spectacular how much I fail. But it doesn't matter; I still have the novels written out, I can still get the first three chapters edited and done by April 5. And the synopsis. And the fucking query letter, and good Goddess how I hate those. And then I can still get everything out on time and then it will be time to start praying. Oh yes. It will verily be time to start praying.

I don't know if I like what I've done with Sofia, but it's certainly a thought. I can go back and edit it into a more normal sort of story later. But I want to at least give this way a try first. I think. This whole process is fucking terrifying.
