2. Nicht precedes most other elements.
a. predicate adjectives (Alex ist nicht faul.)
b. most adverbs (David spielt nicht gut Tennis.)
c. dependent infinitives (Michael geht nicht inlineskaten.
Wir nicht. Jutta, a new acquaintance, has some questions for you and Herr Dieter. Answer in the negative.

Was machst du gern oder nicht gern? Basically, just going through the list of verbs they give and saying whether I like or dislike doing it, since I don't have a German partner.
Ich spiele nicht gern Basketball.
Ich gehe gern joggen.
Ich gehe ins Kino gern.
Ich gehe oft nicht inlineskaten.
Ich gehe tanzen gern.
Ich höre Musik gern.
Ich arbeite nicht gern.
Ich mache nicht gern Fitnesstraining.
Oof. I think I need to review that a little more, if nothing else than to satisfy my own sense of ... something. Security.
Did manage, at least, to get a fair amount of writing done this weekend. Did not get a diverse amount of writing done, but at least I got a fair chunk whacked out on
I also got some Shadowrun porn written for Kink Bingo, and I swear only two people ... three people on this f-list are going to know who Kid Stealth is when I post it. Maybe more. But, three, at least one of whom I mostly because I explained it to her. But I don't care. It fulfills the Mechanical/Technological square in a totally awesome way. Added irony points for writing most of it while I was watching Jurassic Park.
And I spent the better part of the weekend watching shittons of Beauty and the Beast. Oh my god I am in love with Ron Perlman again. I want a Vincent for my room. Big ol' softie lion man who can read Shakespeare and Blake and Coleridge and make me melt. And Ron Perlman really gets to stretch, too, do his more gentle side as opposed to being the bruiser/monster he usually plays. After this I'm going to see if I can hit Sons of Anarchy, and then we're going to maybe watch Dungeon Siege next weekend. Which was totally unintended, but apparently he's in that too, which makes me snicker. Then again, everyone's in that piece of crap. But first, Beauty and the Beast. And me going back to my childhood and, oh the 80s. And Vincent. Oh Vincent. I love you as much now as I ever did when I was a child. If not more so. The show is so 80s cheesetastic but adorable lion man! Seriously, I want one. There will be so much fanfic. I will inflict Vincent fanfic on you all, mua ha ha ha ha.
