Specifying quantity. Oh dear lord this looks irritatingly complicated. Fortunately, apparently, not in too different a pattern to English/German/Spanish/etc.

1. After the numbers 1, 21, 31, etc (but not 11!) the nominative singular is used. The number 1 agrees in gender and number with the following noun.

2. After the numbers 2, 3, and 4 and their compounds (except those in the teens) the following noun is in the genitive singular. The number 2 agrees in gender with the following noun. The numbers 3 and 4 do not change according to gender.

3. After the numbers 5-20, 25-30, 35-40, etc, the following noun is in the genitive plural. The genitive plural also follows the words много - many, мало - (too) few, несколько - (a) few, and Сколько - How many?

Двадцать один/одно/одна/одни
Двадцать два/две
Двадцать пять
Двенадцать

1, 21, 31, 101 = год, рубль
2, 3, 4, 22, 23, 24 = года, рубла
5-20, 25-30, сколько, много, мало, несколько = лет, братьев, сестёр, студентов, американцев

Нет = рублей

Сколько лет? Express the following people's ages in Russian.
Он – 13, она – 31, они – 3, вы – 22, мы – 19, я - ?
Ему 13 годов.
Ей 31 год.
Им 3 года.
Вам 22 года.
Нам 19 годов.
Мне 29 годов.

I think. If I've understood that correctly. I'm probably missing some vital component there, like the verb. >.>
