kittydesadeI have to ask. Seriously, because it's been coming up a lot today and I want to know.
When you never comment on someone's journal, don't write, don't email, don't ping on an IM service, don't call. When the only time you ever pop up is to either a) complain about being de-friended or b) make one tiny nitpick on a point of a typo and then disappear for months on end...
... what in the name of buttercream frosting makes you think we're friends? Makes you think I would talk to you, or say hi to you, or have anything to do with you, or do anything but ignore you? Ever?
When you don't say hello, don't write, don't pop in once in a blue moon even just to say, wow, that sucks if I've been having a bad day, drive by random hellos, anything... when the only time we have contact is during a moment of negativity, brought on by you or experienced and shared by me...
We are not friends. No, we are not.
(If you have to ask, it's most likely not you. I'm just baffled and irritated by people's behavior.)
