kittydesadeAnd thus begins the Great CD Ripping Project. It corresponds with the Great Christmas Card project, which, since I didn't get them out on Monday on account of being out of the house ALL DAY Saturday and some of the day Sunday, means I get to get them out this week. Hooray. Hopefully those going overseas will actually get there, you know. Before Christmas. God, I also need to buy stamps. Eek. I wonder how early the post office by work opens and whether or not it's worth going in 20 minutes early or so to run by the post office and mail them before the crowds get there...
So-o. Yes. The next two major writing projects are going to be finishing the damn novel (hey, I at least got the 50k words in a month with the mail order sale?) and doing that The Mentalist piece. Which seems to want to be smut and yet I almost don't want it to be smut. It's tawdry. At least it knows it's tawdry smut? Jane's not all that happy about it, though not in the sense that he'd turn it down, just in the sense that he hates himself a little for it, and the woman in the piece is... something. Not uncertain, just confused. He's confusing. ("He irks me. He's irksome.")
And between those, yes, there will be Sam + Sebastian Supernatural/Babylon 5 crossover fic. Note that I did not say Sam/Sebastian. Because it isn't. Stupid fandom ruining the slash. And there will be prompt responses and those last two Stephen fics I need to write. There may also be Kendra/Mallory. Kendra raised her head the other day, I don't remember why.
Of course, none of that is happening now, because I have to go to work in half an hour.
Things I have to remember to do at work:cash check. Get stamps from post office. Return massively overdue books to the library. *is a bad person* Get quarters for laundry money. Which is really a list of things I have to remember to do downtown, but hey.
