kittydesadeI give up. There is no way I can write the Sherlock Holmes novel and do it justice, and write a bajillion other novels in 30 days. 25 days, now. I give up on the Sherlock Holmes novel, I will write it next month, or the month after, for the poor boy who wants it. In its place, I will write fairy porn.
Bria, my love, you have any suggestions for good overall links or books on fairies? In general, not specific Celtic mythology, I don't think I'm going to try to tie this into mythology. I don't think. That may change, but after Nanowrimo.
Every year, there's always one novel that I wind up scrapping five to ten days into the marathon, and substituting something else. Every god damn year I do this when I do six novels at once. Why do I do this myself? Why haven't I learned better? More to the point, what is the overall plot/excuse for porn that I'm going to use this new sixth novel? Inquiring writers want to know.
ETA: Maybe not fairy porn. Maybe made-up-world elf porn. That way I don't have to worry about research in the middle of one of my crazy-Nanos.
Son of ETA: Except now I've gone from fairy porn to elf porn to entirely unrelated space porn that goes back to a mecha world I half-formed a while back. WTF brain.
