A Letter to my Yuletide Writer

kittydesadeI know I requested some pretty odd fandoms, and all I can say is that they were the first things that came to mind! These aren't guidelines so much as polite suggestions, because I know that when someone says to me "write me a story about this fandom" half the time I completely blank on what part of the fandom to write about.
Anne Maxwell: I read these books as a kid, I don't remember how old I was I picked them up first. I remember wanting to be Rheba, which is pretty much the only reason I picked her as a character. Don't feel constrained by the two characters chosen, so much. Mostly, as long as it centers around the main characters, it's all good. I love the universe, I loved the search for home, and I wish she'd written more.
Dresden files: Bob! Bob Bob Bob! Also, Terrence Mann! Which is probably the big reason I like Bob. But I also like the character, I like the tragedy of him, and I absolutely love the snark. So, yeah, anything centered around Bob. No Bob/Harry please. But smarm is okay. And lovely. Past, present, future. (And if it doesn't include Bob, that's okay too, Bob's just the only specific thing I can think of that I would want.)
Sky High: Anything with the students. They are fun and lovable and adorable people. Again, no slash please.
Jekyll: Um, shoot, as far as I can tell, anything goes. I just saw the series a couple months ago and it was one of the coolest retellings of that story I've ever seen. So, yeah. Anything that continues that mood, theme, story, all that. Excellent!
And really, above all, relax. I'm easy. Write what you love, and have a good time!
