So, I heard back from the other agent who wanted to see follow-up and, as you may have guessed by the subject heading, it was a no. A nice, rather sweet no. But a no. She wasn't engaged enough by either the protagonist or the storyline. Which now has me wondering if my protagonist or my storyline are somehow weak. Which actually is kind of stupid since that's the first time either thing has come up. So. No? But. Wow. That's disheartening.

At least, on the writing front, things have been going relatively well. I have to go back and find the notes for that hoodoo story I was going to write that Fluffy kind of started poking me about. And I really, really have to get caught up on prompts, which I almost am. Just have to post them. And then once prompts are posted I can catch up on LJ RP. And then. Guh. I have... writing projects.

1. Pen Bryton (always)
2. Hoodoo story/novella?
3. Barton Hall

... Actually I think that's it. Okay, not so bad with the writing projects. And I also have sewing projects and mini painting projects. But those are going to have to wait till the wallpaper's done and all that's done and the living room's cleaner again. At the least, the sewing projects. I can probably paint minis in my office.

Yeah, really... I don't know. There isn't much point to this entry. I'm just feeling kind of bleh and omg never goign to get published and why do I even bother now. Six people are reading Barton Hall, no one wants to see Pen, wah wah wah. Cry me a river. Which is really my own answer right there, isn't it. Time to change into something less sweaty (it's frikkin humid out there!) and get my ass back to work.
