kittydesadeSo I got my car back today. It was 700$ to fix, which, ow. But on the other hand, I suppose, that is the kind of contingency I wanted to save for. I just kind of wanted to save up a little more before I spent it. Eh well.
Plus, I saw Pirates last night. And today I came home to find not one package but three waiting for me. My BPAL order, which, finally. Highlander Season Five, which, mmmmMethos! And some trinkets from my mother, which included a very pretty t-shirt. And a timely watch. I have another BPAL order on the way next week, which was already taken out when I started figuring out how much I had for car repairs, and it's not like I don't have a steady source of income. I'm not flat broke. And I had a very good birthday week.
Plus, a bunch of us went to see Pirates 3 dressed as pirates. And there were about 20 other pirates in the theatre, including three Jack Sparrows. That just wins right there. The one Darth Vader who was in the movie theatre too does not win. He fails.
Starting tomorrow, I will be gearing up for or participating in the June![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
ficfrenzy. Towards the end of getting my butt offline and doing more writing, original writing, I will be offline from the time I get home from work (usually around 2.30 EST) for about four hours. This will be Writing Time, so I don't feel guilty for staying online and tagging all day. Because, seriously. If I don't allocate time, I'lljust procrastinate till it's 10 pm and then I'll put it off till tomrorrow because everyone knows I can't focus at 10 pm. Really.
I think that's it for today, actually. Oh. Someone remind me to look up hoodoo or what have you, something similar, on Sunday. Yes. *pokes brain*
