Feb. 26th, 2021 07:57 pm... when was the last time I even updated this thing??
( omg so much whining )
GAAAAAAH so that was a week. There were good spots though. Maggie's weight loss over the last month, on the one hand it's not grief from losing Mikey, but on the other hand it's also not cancer or anything deadly, and she hasn't lost terribly much weight. I finally shelled out for a drawing tablet, a Wacom Intuos, after looking into it and consulting with an artist friend and discovering that actually it was not a few hundred dollars for a good one. We've started rewatching Warehouse 13. I gave up trying to find the Mortal Kombat soundtrack for download and got a secondhand CD to rip to my computer and it's giving me much joy after the new trailer dropped, which also gives me much joy. I do have a working toilet in the office now even though it was a tremendous pain in the ass to fix it because whoever had installed the assembly did it way too tight. I have all the gardening supplies either coming or in house that I will need. I think. Unless I get too ambitious.
I was going to start planting things today but it was raining all day, so, tomorrow I guess. That's pretty fine, though. More updates on the garden as it develops. And code school is going... well, it'd go better if stuff hadn't interfered all week, but I think my project is a good third of the way done, so that's also very nice.
