It's Saturday. I say these things because without a tv rota, or any form of outside connection, even Taco Tuesdays to remind me what day it is I would probably quickly lose sense of time. I woke up and told Twitter it was Saturday and then lay in bed for another hour or so reading the third Johnny Dixon book. That was nice but I'm starting to think I should have just gone back to sleep, since I napped for about three hours on the couch. The other strange thing about the timing of this virus, not about the virus itself but rather, it's getting to the point where the days are long enough that it's daylight forever and ever and I'm losing track of hourly time, too.

Anyway. I got up, I did a bit of cleaning and rearranging and sorting in the office, and then I sat down on the papasan with the smallest cat and realized I was falling asleep. Ended up napping the rest of the time on the couch. And now I'm awake and I want to do things, slash get things done, those two are not the same, but bleh. I am heating up food though, rather than eating sugar. That ought to help.

The ferals haven't sat on the oregano and parsley yet, and that also helps. The raspberry keeps leafing out, the goji berry bushes don't look bad although they're not growing as fast as I'd like. Though "as fast as I'd like" probably means "doubled their size in a week" and even goji berry bushes aren't going to do that.

I haven't done as much house cleaning of the office as I wanted to do today. But I feel more relaxed and more as though I can rest on Saturday instead of thinking of all the writing I have to do. I still have a lot of writing to do, but I don't feel as guilty now that my weekdays are official writing days. I could really get used to this, assuming it ends up in income which it's not likely to. Alas. Still, for the next month or so I don't feel bad. I feel okay. I'm in touch with my friends online, I have the boy, I have the cats, and I have work to do. I feel okay so far.
