May. 21st, 2019 11:52 amThere, I returned the broken palette and repurchased it immediately after I sealed the box, so hopefully this one will come undamaged. I thought about trying to smash it back together into the palette, but I don't actually know how to do that and I don't want to practice with a 27$ palette from a place that will reasonably refund me if I send it back. Maybe if I get a palette from Elf that comes smashed I can practice on that.
The pest person is coming tomorrow and our house is much neater but still blegh, so I guess I know what I'm doing all night tonight wheeeeeee. It's not that bad. I just need to go around everything with a mop at some point. And a broom. Lots of mop and broom and pick up the stack of filing that fell over. But it's still full of clutter and my office is full of books on the floor instead of on shelves and aaargh.
And now that I think of it I left my folders with my edit notes for both projects at home. Extra argh. Not that it seems to matter much because work is full of chaos and weirdness, but hey. (I was right, it didn't matter, I'm about to post this at 6pm and I haven't gotten a damn bit of writing done because it's all been day job day job day job.
And now I have to go home and clean house and write and make some vague attempt at language practice and guitar practice and aaaaaaargh. Why aren't I just independently wealthy enough not to have to do this. Argh.
