Jun. 21st, 2018 09:06 pmI swear to god if one more dumb white bitch on Twitter tells me that resting is a privilege, literally that getting a good night's sleep is a privilege, I am going to start screaming. I have been VERY clear that I'm not white, that I do in fact look more and more these days like the people currently being locked up in concentration camps in Texas, and if I seem calm and with it on Twitter it's because I'm trying to lead by example and not have a panic attack a day about being deported to a strange country because I happen to speak Spanish and have a non-standard name.
Fucksake. Some people's children. That is not the way to win people over to your side, clueless lady.
Yes, this happened on Twitter as I was doing evening reminders to drink water, take your meds, sleep, which since she purports to follow me she should know I do regularly at the same time every night. Plus I see a whole lot of DONATE! PROTEST! CALL YOUR CONGRESSMEN! on twitter, I do not see a lot of "did you eat a food today? did you remember to drink water?" basic take care of yourself shit, so you know what we will have at the end of all of that? A lot of burnt out husks of humans. Miss me with your white privilege oh you can just call or protest it won't cost you anything bullshit.
Uuuugh. Better things, I have a kind of a bite on Pilot of Seville, of all things. Which means I need to scramble to get that done but that's not so hard. I got a bigger pot for my jade plant so that poor thing can have room to breathe, I'm becoming increasingly sure it's outgrown its current home. It also needs a name, come to think of it. Poor thing. What's a good name for a jade plant?
I need a fan for this office definitely. Preferably another of those small heating/cooling fans like I keep in the office, except I'm not sure where mine is anymore. But that would do for both summer and winter. I'd also like another light, maybe a standing lamp, but right now the overhead is fine. And. And I need to take a half hour here and there and do some light reading, or at least some fiction reading again, but I have a novel to draft, another to edit, an outline to flesh out, several short stories to edit, synopses and character bios to finish, my wife to murder, and the Yam Sham to frame for it. I'm swamped.
