(no subject)

Profoundly unhappy this morning for a variety of reasons. The worst of them is being told that Trump is surging in the polls and pondering if I can seriously uproot myself from home, probably boyfriend, and job enough to get the hell up to Canada where not every part of me is loathed by the potential next President.

Anyway, this is the check-in post for today. If I get things done despite having a breakdown, there will be a list of them here.

• Successfully completed day jobligations, despite the best efforts of the computers and webmail
  
• Managed some drawing practice on perspective
  
• Shaved off the dirty point of a blending tool for a new clean point, for the first time.
  
• Had relatively coherent conversation with the boy explaining my fears (he doesn't think it'll happen, regardless, but has promised to hide me in an attic.)
  
• Wrote around 500 words in a story currently in progress
