At this point I don't know why I/we bother saying "Okay, let's work on the plan for the books/stories this weekend" because inevitably as I try to figure out what things I have in progress where it turns into we're working on it now. But that stuff did get done, I figured out where the fuck this other story actually goes as opposed to where I've been trying to put it for two years, and made a resolution to resurrect several old things. So that's good.

Still haven't made my retrospective post, partly because it'll also involve casting cards for the upcoming year and partly because I can't remember any kind of orderly list of things I done did in 2015. I can remember bits and pieces, obviously I started capoeira and did six months of it (really? holy shit) and rescued a kitty after burying one, and moderated a panel while participating on several at DragonCon. And other than that, I have no real solid clue what I did. I do have a general plan for next year, though. That's worth quite a bit.

That's also my resolution for the new year: keep better track of the shit I done did so my retrospective is more full of YES. I DID THIS. ME.

So glad for a three day weekend. I am going to spend the bulk of it, again-ish, cleaning and resting. And reading and probably doing some writing/editing work, but mostly cleaning and doing restful things. Like reading and knitting! And probably watching endless anime. I still have some FullMetal Alchemist: Brotherhood to watch on Hulu, and then I seem to have the first season of Yuyu Hakusho delivered, and I have to figure out if I want to watch Inuyasha: The Final Act with subtitles. It'd be good for my Japanese! And I might have enough distance between me and the REST of Inuyasha not to have cognitive dissonance over the voices. Maybe. I hope.

Really, I'm just looking forward to resting when I'm not cleaning. There will be fireworks tonight, still perfectly situated to catch both downtown and Biltmore fireworks, but they shouldn't be too loud if I crash early, and since I don't have to leave my house to see them, yay.

And having just decided to knit a Doctor Who scarf according to the actual BBC directions after I finish my sweater I think I need to go home before I decide something else stupid.
