Aug. 10th, 2015 07:45 pmUgh, I have no idea what's up with today. I did sleep okay? At least I thought I did, but then it was a drag to get to exercise and a drag at work and I'm inexplicably feeling more bloated than usual, despite it being nowhere near time for my body to hate me in that particular manner. I kind of wonder if this isn't some kind of bizarre pasta hangover, I did carb load more than I have been lately, because there was a lot of heavy lifting to do yesterday, but most of the carb loading was in the morning and one would think it would have worn off by now. Yes? No? Hell. Okay, one part of the carb binge was towards the evening, because beef stroganoff. But argh.
Either way, less carb loading is probably better for me, especially if I'm going to up my protein, I should probably be subbing it out.
Ugh, Scrivener, why do you make printing out selected columns in an outline so damn hard. It should not be this hard. And yet at this point I've wasted almost... no, probably an hour trying to figure out how to print the scene title, one synopsis column, and one meta-data column and I found one poor option for exporting to CSV and one cluttered option for exporting to PDF with a whole bunch of extra meta-data I did not need. Scrivener, this is why I don't use you for outlining very much. Or, probably, why I shouldn't use you for anything but compiling for print at all.
Aeon Timeline, on the other hand, is awesome. I managed to accidentally figure out how to make up my own month-day system and my own BCE/CE system, which is good because for the Blasted Lands there is one of those world-shaking events that turns everything on its head and affects the measurement of time. And I decided to set everything in twelves and twenty fours. And sixes. Because why not, and, yeah, that took up most of the rest of my evening.
Also trying on my Stitch Fix box. That place is fucking evil I tell you. For about every shirt or blouse that's kind of 'eh, not this style again' there's at least two items, usually the more expensive ones, that I go FUCKING WANT at. Argh.
