Jul. 21st, 2015 12:01 amWell, I'm starting food tracking again, because my appetite's all weird, and I'm still sleeping more than I usually do which might not be able to be helped. But I did look up something and apparently one capoeira class burns between 1000 and 1500 calories, and I haven't been eating that much more than usual on capoeira days I don't think. So that's a thing. It'll also help me keep track of how much protein to carb and so on. If I'm going to be building muscle, might as well do it proper. I'm also debating whether or not to shell out the $40 for one year of the advanced lose-it, not now but after next paycheck on/around Friday, for the steps tracking and the water tracking and maaaaybe the measurements tracking. On the other hand there's also the option of using the pedometer I got ages ago, which I would rather do than spend the money on a Nike+ or whatever, and I don't know if this app lets you manually enter steps walked and ugh.
... On the other hand it turns out the iHealth app automatically tracks your steps anyway whether you want it to or not, so I could do that if I paid for premium. Ugh. Ooh, wait, does it track water intake too? No, no of course it does not. Double ugh.
I've gone hardcore onto an NCIS binge. We can all blame the West Wing arc with Mark Harmon for this, for semi-obvious reasons if you've seen the arc and if not, the simplest explanation is I have a huge crush and go on Mark Harmon kicks at the drop of a role. So, NCIS, starting from season one through season four because that's all I have on DVD and because I lost interest maybe around season six? Seven? I don't remember what the last season I watched was. It was a while ago though. I have no idea why they're on season twelve now.
And my mother is coming over for the weekend, for capoeira and to hang out and all that other good stuff. My mother, to capoeira. This is only slightly terrifying, though at least I'm marginally more graceful and coordinated than I used to be. And I might even by that point get ahead of the whole Nano thing! (Ahahah. But I might knock down my dailies to the point where I can keep up, which is the goal of the thing.)
