Jun. 23rd, 2015 11:35 amOkay, I have looked at bus tickets down to Atlanta for DC, and it doesn't look all that horrible, that should be fine. I have savings to cover hotel (I think) and food will probably primarily be sushi or a burger or something. Cheap shit. My autographs list is not shrinking by nearly enough, ugh, which means I'll have to prioritize, and I'm really bad about that. Maybe I'll get lucky and they won't have jacked up the price too much this year? (HAH.) Anyway. It looks like Dragon*Con is good to go, I just need to find out what fucking days I need to be there. Or bite the bullet and book the damn bus ticket to come back Monday.

I was so enthused about exercising this morning (no I wasn't) that I managed to wrench my shoulder doing push-ups. Go me. Day before capoeira. Fortunately I didn't wrench it very badly, it's just a bit twingy and I'm rolling and stretching and all that good stuff, it'll probably be gone by tonight. At least I didn't do whatever it was I did putting away yarn. That'd be embarrassing. And awkward.
I have cheapass sweatpants that are entirely unflattering but who cares they're light colors and they're cotton. Plus I need to hem them anyway, I might as well see what I can do with them in terms of a little tailoring. If anything. It might well be more trouble than its worth. Besides, I have Batman and Wonder Woman yoga pants incoming, and then all or at least most of my capoeira clothing will be either prescribed wear from studio or super-hero based. Because of reasons.
I think I've hit the point where I'm just going to try and push through and finish these three stories, assuming I can because two of them meander quite a bit, before Nano starts. Well, no, I take it back, only the one of them meanders, the other I don't have an ending yet point yet but there's a very specific sequence of events going on and it might be shorter than I think. Which means maybe that's the one I should be working on, but of course that's not the one I started. Oh well. At any rate, if I'm very lucky I can do this, do some prep work for Camp Nanowrimo, and get all of those things done before it starts. Plus capoeira, which I have been reminded is probably what's making me sleep an hour extra these days. Ulp.
I really need some more/new/different icons. Things from Jupiter Rising maybe, or from Fury Road when that comes out, things from Cirque or anything else involving acrobatics and legs. Capoeira things. Need more icons. Need to spend a bit of time doing that. I can throw it together with developing fun cover art.
Oh, and Author K was talking about something about in our inner hearts, entirely unrelated but then I had a plotbunny about outer hearts encased in shells and kept beating by advanced medical technology and that needs to be a character somewhere. I don't know where. But somewhere.
