Mikey hasn't thrown up again, everyone's poo looks normal as far as I can see it, and everyone's eating normally and meowing normally and annoying us for laps normally. And I slept! I got an extra hour of sleep last night, and I actually feel normal again. I did all my exercises! I'm working all my languages! It's so good to be rested.
And once again, DUDE! DUDE DUDE DUDE DUDE DUDE! In this case the dude is a dinosaur. And may be a dudette, I am not, in an eternal disappointment to my childhood self, a paleontologist. The scientist is definitely a dudette. But DUDE. Soft tissue in dinosaur fossils! MORE DINOSAUR INFORMATION. DUDE.
I think at this point all awesome scientific discovery links are just going to be accompanied by an endless string of 'dude's. Sort of like an endless string of exclamation points but with more characters.
I demonstrated nail stamping for the boy today, to one of those bemused looks of "I find this very weird but it makes you happy and I love you so I'm happy for you" type smiles. Yeah, I don't know either considering this whole habit of self-decorating only happened in the last couple years or so. I figure it's a natural extension of my liking to throw color on things, yarn, wool, stencil painting leather, silk painting, whatever. Throwing color on my face and nails is just the next logical step!
I also started in on my Hugos reading today, only to discover that it's up to July 31st and not June as I thought. Oh well. That just gives me longer to read everything, even with my decently fast reading speeds. Which is good because I now have another writing project, bringing me up to, oh, let's list them again shall we?
Finish the BACA story
Finish Alex's story (or, heh, write it at all)
Finish The Bedlam
Write the Faery Mead short story at all.
Write the supplemental documents for White Lightning
Outline PS
Write at least 20 thousand words of prep for PS, mostly character noodling
Sketch more kinship charts for PS and related works
Sketch more alliance charts for PS and related works
Make an index of fae houses
Put all of that into a binder for future reference
Write the Broody Archer story
Write as much as can be done plus outline of Turing Shrugged.
We can put that last one down to a friend of mine discussing the Matrix movies on Twitter and me remembering a ridiculous epic length fanfic that I wrote. That I promptly decided (and by promptly I mean a few months ago) should be rewritten as original fiction. And I don't even know what I'm doing at this point anymore, other than way overloading myself with crap to do. Haaalp.
Right. Tomorrow, in between everything, let's see if I can get some of this prep-work done. The charting and indexing at the absolute very least.
