May. 25th, 2015 11:01 pmI don't know why I thought I could also catch up on my writing and my studies in the same weekend as we cleaned the house, went to Dave and Busters, and caught up on gardening, even with the extra day, but I did and now I'm kicking myself for not getting everything done, because I am a moron. (Although to be fair I didn't anticipate quite as much hauling around of bags of cow poo and pulling down of vines and cutting down of alianthus and weeds and pokeberry). I have some hopes of managing to keep the house clean enough over the week that I don't have much to do over the weekend and can devote myself to catching up on various studies. It's pretty much a hope given what's incoming over the course of the week. And then Monday I have fillings. Oh joy. Oh rapture.
Oh giant pile of work I want to get done and am instead going to end up doing day jobligations, housework, and other things in slow dribs and drabs as I have time. Ah the price of being an adult.
(Somewhere later in this post I will attempt to organize my brain before bed. I'm not counting on that happening though.)
(At least the backyard and the front lawn and even the garden, to some extent although I did my damndest apparently to kill the seedlings, they still look pretty damn good. Also! There were snakes! Five tiny garter snakes that I saw, and the boy found two or three more that disappeared by the time he got me out to look at them. So cute. And molting, by the shed skins I found near the raised beds.)
