(no subject)
Apr. 20th, 2015 11:09 pmThere, I have read over and taken many notes on the design critique from a friend of mine (Thanks G! You are a goddess) on the subject of my books' cover design. And now I just have to sit on myself not to go back and edit all my covers until later. I have more than enough stuff to do right now, I do not need to deal with that, especially not now that everything's published at the moment. Brain. Shut up and go away.
I have also written a good 4k in the Camp Nano project, which if that goes well, I might even be able to finish it before time. If that goes well. If I can keep up this pace, which I'm not entirely sure I can, and on the other hand it is kind of just flying out of my fingertips. And I got a close to last scene in Sandborn edited! Which, god, I hope I can push through and finish those last scenes and then do the extra writing towards the end of the week, get that done and off so that can be off my plate and I can work on White Lightning. The writing comes easy, still. I'm rapidly discovering that I have only brain enough to fix one manuscript at a time, at least while holding down a full time job, and that is incredibly aggravating.
Other stuff. I'm almost done with my Reconstruction (American Civil War) course, which is still fun and I might still take notes after I'm finished with all the lectures, and I have aced every goddamn quiz so hah. Yes, I can still do school stuff. It's just that science was never my thing, but clearly history still is. I'm continuing chugging along on my physics homework, and the Arabic, did not get to Hindi over the weekend because I've been churning through books that are now overdue at the library, whoops. Here come the fines. Though at least right now I'm aware of them and trying not to rack up too many fines. Double whoops because I could have just renewed the fucking things and yet no. Anyway, once I've finished this one, I can read the other one that is not yet due, pay all my fines, and ... okay, let's be realistic, probably catch up on some of my lessons before I go on to read other things. Or maybe read any of my ten thousand Kindle books I haven't read yet oops.
Seriously you guys, I have umpteen million projects. I have four knitting projects on needles, a bunch of bracelets I need to either make or finish, a couple of small coil pots for my cartridges that I need to make ever, plants going on, minis to paint, shirts to finish sewing ever, a pencil case to make out of leather for Ravenclaw because I am accumulating way too many pens, um. Yeah, that's not even all of them, that's just the ones that nag at me right now.
First, finishing this book. And knitting projects. And then everything else can just wait the hell in line.
