Okay. I think, I think I am done with this sick. Which is to say I have spent the bulk of a day at work doing work tasks mostly at speed, and I have not fallen over yet. There was a point when I developed a headache and felt flushed and I sat down and had a lot of water and I was better then, and that was after the heavy lifting, so. Better? Hopefully.

I am also taking an inordinate amount of pleasure in redoing all my physics notes in bright colors. When I first started feeling better but I still had barely enough brainpower to write or do much of anything that didn't involve sitting on the couch, I decided I could at least copy over things in suitable colors, purple for displacement, green for acceleration, blue for velocity, etc. This turned into at least an hour by now of amusement where I re-read all the formulae and tried to figure out if I could understand it just by reading it. And most of the time I could! And some of the time it took me a second and then I had to add in another line to explain how I got from the one thing to the other. And at least once I was just, I would have gotten that if my brain weren't coated in mucus.

Normally a head cold that does not descend onto my lungs or involve pressure changes from plane travel lasts 24, maybe 48 hours tops. This one lasted from Friday night to maybe Tuesday night. I also completely lost my appetite, which is unusual for me. I disapprove of all of this in the strongest terms possible.

Hopefully today I can get an appropriate amount of writing and editing done, which is to say the amount I expect to normally get done in a day. I may count copying over my physics as doing physics or I may not. We do, at least, still have pizza left over so I may punk out of making dinner again tonight. And then tomorrow, a full actual day of actual stuff. Hopefully. Except possibly light on the exercises some more. Christ, I'm out for four five days and I turn into a wet noodle.

This week's word count was 11,682, still thanks to Camp Nano. We're not going to talk about the other stuff that's not getting done, thanks to plague.
