Mar. 24th, 2015 10:05 pmI'm about ready either for the weekend or for alcohol, one or both. Three wholesale orders today, when one in a day makes it busy enough already, and we don't get them but maybe once every seven to ten. And three of them today and now I has a tired and a brain dead and I just want to curl up and read a book or something. Instead I have to cook, write, edit, study, stretch... I'm sure there were more things, but I can't think of them right now.
I mean, yes, I went ahead and did all of that, but that's not the point, I just want to curl up and read a book some nights.
Maybe I'll try that tomorrow night. Assuming tomorrow is less hectic than today, today was just. Ugh. Not to mention finding out this morning that there is no way, barring a not insignificant miracle, that the boy can go to DragonCon this year. Which means I'm either catching a bus or punking out entirely. The latter is actually rather tempting, except that I usually end up somehow these years being on a couple of fan panels, and at least one person actually asked if we were going to represent Murderboarding on a panel. Ugh. Decisions. I should at least look up the fees and times from here to Atlanta anyway. Don' wanna. I like it when things are easy and on my schedule.
Ah well. At least today was a productive writing day, a productive day in other ways. I got some stuff done, I got some code learning done, some language study done. Little bit of everything and knocked some shit off my list. I can live with that, and tomorrow I guess I get to start breaking down the bedroom for great paint prepping. EEEEEEEEK.
