Jan. 30th, 2015 11:36 pmI have no idea what was with yesterday but my brain felt like it was slogging through molasses. It took until about 4.30 to get anything remotely resembling writing momentum. Ugh. On the plus side, today seems to be making up for it. Bursts of inspiration in the shower, a full workout, and then bursts of inspiration in the car on the way to work. Not to mention figuring out how to fix the story that had been stuck for at least a week or so, the past week. THAT was kind of a relief.
Of course once I got home I accomplished... well, Duolingo, a very tiny bit more writing, and making Skyline? So not much was accomplished there. I did finally find my fucking smarties! I picked up a couple bags of those along with the chili ingredients for the boy to have his coneys while I have my spaghetti. At least part of the inability to do anything is the fact that I fixed myself a truly monstrous plate of spaghetti. Okay, look, I had cereal for breakfast, crackers and juice for lunch because I was a dingbat who forgot to pack hers and in all the chaos lately no one's gone grocery shopping, and with one thing and another, giant pile of skyline for dinner.
Followed by not doing a damn thing but playing Scrabble and foreign language word games on my phone. Oh darn.
In lieu, then, of doing anything, a to-do list for the weekend before I go to bed.
1. finish the goddamn curtains. That can probably actually happen tomorrow, All that's left are the top seams and making the pocket. Easy.
2. Finish the stupid short story now that I've figured out where it's going.
3. DO ALL YOUR DAMN PROMO COPY JESUS. ALL OF IT. And then take a look at the rest of the neglected writing and go from there.
4. Swap out the litterpans this time.
5. Mending?
6. There is no rule 6. Friendship bracelets. Who knows.
