Flawless fucking victory. Not only have I completed chapter one of Twilight Watch, when I looked at one sentence as a flowing whole rather than type each word out, I could actually fucking read it. I had to look up two words, but the rest of it I could make out! Fuck yeah Russian studies paying off.
Today:
Ow. Ow. Ow ow ow. Ow? Ow ow. Ow.
So it's that day when I ache, I want to throw up, and I want to eat all the chocolate in my proximity. In that order, too, because damned if I'm throwing up perfectly good chocolate I just ate. On the plus side, maybe I'll have fewer of these days on this new prescription. And did I mention it's only about $10 a month? Yeah.
Sadly, work today is not offering me much in the way of reprieve. Filing and packing, and unpacking and stocking, and other things. If I'm very lucky I'll get to do some editing. I still haven't done the gardening I wanted to this weekend on account of fuckitscold, and it looks like it's going to stay that way for a while because oh god, Polar Vortex Mark II? No. Do not want. I mean, on the plus side this should kill a lot of things and mean all I have to do is chop down the tall stuff and lay out the black plastic? And on the other hand DO NOT WANT. At any rate, polar vortex or not the temperature is set to drop over the next week/ten days, so no outdoor gardening for me. Starting seedlings in a couple weeks, though. And separating seeds to send on to people.
What else. Blog happened this weekend, was fairly quick, so the rest of the weekend got to be lounging around except for the snap things I didn't do. Need to get back on that so I can get on the rest of the stuff I want to do with the leather. I did, at least, manage to get a whole lot of relaxing and some blog business done, as well as seed inventory. Blog business included ordering business cards, too! That was way more fun than ordering business cards should be, I feel. But we also got to come up with cool titles (Data Wrangler) so hey.
Right. I guess this is where I go do the filing thing. I kind of wish I did audiobooks better so I could listen to them while I do filing, but that's just never going to be a thing with me, I think.
