Well, all right then. Today I will write, in Russian, 100 words about cake. Maybe tomorrow I will go back to Gods and Monsters, and then continue on with short ficlets. And the German lesson plan has already been figured, so there's that. Irish would probably be easier at least if I hadn't done the other book first, if they gave me the verbs to begin with instead of making me translate whole sentences for which I don't have verb conjugations, but at least they have an answer key.

Dum deedle de doo. What do I even have on the calendar for today? Finish one blog post, do a Just the Facts for Nerd Girls, finish Gods and Monsters and finish outlining Nerd Girls, I guess. And work on a letter to grandpa. It doesn't look like we have too much incoming, so depending on whether or not we have a lot of things outgoing that could be easy to finish today. We'll see. Definitely need to get with the outlining of Nerd Girls, though, if I want to talk about it. A cast of characters does not a novel make. Fortunately I have the general structure, I just need to implement it with specific events.

Hrr. And I guess if it gets too busy for that today, I'll work on at least G&M this evening, although argh finishing the blog tonight. I was too exhausted to do much of that last night. Barring that I have to do that, more compiling of Black Ice and dealing with edits after I finish tomorrow's blog entry. I have so much writing work to do, argh, and my office is a mess. I guess I know what I'm cleaning up this weekend!

Yes, I did just write 100 words about cake in Russian. Predictably, it was evil cake. There would have been more description about why it was evil, but I only had 100 words.

This could actually be fun, you know. Writing 100 word or maybe eventually 150 word drabbles in Russian on topics yet to be chosen. I'd do it in German except I have just enough facil .... well. Maybe I SHOULD do it in German. Hmmm.

Still have a fair amount of crap to do, although not so much work crap, but then it all landed and Russian took longer than I thought it would and argh. Brain not working as fast nor processing input or output nor changing gears as fast as I want it to. This displeases me. I guess there's not much for it but to start tackling things one or at most two tasks at a time and see how it goes? But I'm still going to be grumpy that it's extremely likely I'm not going to get everything I wanted to do, done, today.

Stop that, self. You will get things done. As long as you get the essential things done, that's what's important. And it's true nothing will get done until you start doing, so start doing. Next!
