Okay. So, guess who was an idiot and forgot her Russian dictionary at home? That would be me. Yes. Which means today's Russian exercise is going to be, gasp, shock, reading! If I can figure out how to find the damn Russian language books on Gutenberg. Or if I can remember where the Russian original of Night Watch is online. ... This could prove problematic.
All right, keep searching. I somehow managed to finish the fucking draft, though. So, that can get edited this afternoon/tonight, and most likely tonight. I can totally edit and hem pants at the same time what are you talking about. Which leaves me with, as far as writing things goes, more Gods and Monsters drafting, more edits, and blogging for the forseeable future. You know, I'm strangely okay with this. Annoyingly, I do still/now need to rework my entire first chunk of outline for Gods and Monsters thanks to the way things went on this recent section. C'est la vie.
Ugh, so much crap to do. Among other things I need to break it all down into tasks by category. Costuming, I need to sort out and organize my costumes for Dragon*Con and make sure they're clean, the ones I'm not building from scratch this time. Which is most of them but Huntress and Tetsuo. I should figure out what makeup I'm doing for Tetsuo, if I'm doing just a bit of smokey eyes and normal makeup or if I'm going to do freaky veiny pale blotchy face. Or, hell, maybe both depending on the course of the day. I need to schedule out my writing tasks. And my gardening tasks. And figure out what the hell is up with the tomato plants because they're not growing as much as they should be. Moar fertilizer, maybe? Something. It's annoying me and I have plant envy and I feel like a bad person ... actually, I do, a little. Or at least a bad homesteader. Which has nothing to do with plants and everything to do with I have a left of center set of expectations for me and my housekeeping. Anyway, yes. Plants. How do they fucking work.
All right, I think we've reached the point where I need to stop whining about how much shit I have to do and start doing it, so here I go doing it. I just might take the boy up on his idea of more tomato plants this weekend, though. And a big bag of moar dirt to put them in. At least the carrots are coming up.
