Oh, hey, shit's finally starting to happen in Once Upon A Time. It only took them for freaking ever and some truly execrable episodes. Here's hoping that was just the worst case of first season jitters I have ever seen. If the rest of the series is like the last couple of episodes, I could live with this. But, dear god. That's possibly the worst first season ever. I would never, ever recommend someone start OUAT with the entire first season. I would show them maybe a third of the episodes and fill in the details from there.

Blah blah house blah blah slog. Today on the list of things to do! Read over the mortgage paperwork. Carefully. Email photo to the mason who did email back. Wait for phone call from lawyer, pretty much. Get stamps for the mailing out of thank you cards. And packing. I think we're getting to the point where packing is the main overall thing I have to do, other than keeping up with all the legal paperwork and what has to be signed when. Really, thank god I figured out how to use the scanner on our printer (we didn't have the right drivers downloaded, apparently) because then I can just get shit signed and scan it in and send it off without having to worry about when I can run papers over.

And. And what else. And not much, really. I need to check in today at lunch, I need to get to bed earlier tonight. And do some tidying because the maintenance people are coming tomorrow to inspect the fire extinguishers. Which reminds me, I need to check up on smoke detectors, add that to the list of things to do today. Largely consisting of looking at the city fire department website and seeing if they have an installation service(s) listed.

Sleepy. Which is my own dumbass fault for putting shit off till the last minute, almost literally, but still sleepy. Bleh. Looks like there's not much incoming, maybe outgoing will be nice to me and I can get through the day without wanting to murder anyone in their sleep.

Read over the initial list of documents, called and left a message for Other Mortgage Lady about documents I need to send, now I just need to scan those in and email them to people. I am so brain dead right now I cannot even begin to tell you, internets. Agreeing to the weaving class tomorrow and three subsequent Tuesdays may have been a mistake, but on the other hand after the first couple of classes it becomes Stuff I Can Do On Work Downtime. And I could use something new and interesting that isn't house stuff.

And really, mostly I think I just need a nap. Last night was a bad night for trying to get any sleep whatsoever.

And in light of that, maybe I shouldn't claim I'm running out of cope quite so soon. Looking at my list of house crap to do, I'm actually on top of things. I'm just tired. Need more sleep, less chaos.

Routines slowly coming back online. Possibly when I get home there will be a quick nap and then yoga to wake up. I did get one BigBang Mixup done over the weekend, the second one is outlined and maybe a third done and should be doable the rest of the week. And then it's just finishing and implementing edits, which I can work on tonight after aforementioned nap and the resumption of more brainpower.

Speaking of edits, apparently monks make snarky margin notes too. That made my morning, thanks to Anna. Some of those look awfully familiar, or at least, similar to things I've said/written in margins. Mostly the 'oh god when will this end' ones.

Right. For my own porpoises, a list of things I need to do tonight. Nap, yoga, dinner. Japanese, Miss Fisher, edits. Knitting during Miss Fisher, I think. Sufficient downtime is important for maintenance of mental health. Also a check-in post, though I think I have time to do that here now. And somehow I will manage not to pass out on anything important or stay up past my bedtime.
