And now I have all the Thundercats. Fear my love of 80s cartoons. I also picked up a number of $2 DVDs, including SWAT and Iron Man 2 and that Sherlock Holmes movie involving a T-Rex that someone mentioned on the Yuletide comms but I have no idea where anymore so I can't comment and tell them "Hey, I found it, I'll see if I can write you fic." Bollocks. I picked up the Tad Williams Otherland series, because I did love it once upon a time, and a couple of Patricia Briggs' and the first Temeraire to see if I like it, and something else. But mostly now I have all the Thundercats and can wallow in my 80s cheese.
Sleepy tired. Headachey. No, I take it back, not all that sleepy tired per se, just headachy and a bit ready to settle in and not do anything except, of course, it's the end of the weekend. Poop. And yesterday was a game day, although the apartment got picked up. My god. And I didn't even have to do the majority of it. Oh how nice that was. There will be some more picking up of things over the course of the week but mostly, things are tidy and it feels so damn good.
I'm fairly sure there was something else I was thinking of. All I've got, though, right now is a handful of icons of Dwight from Haven. You can take advantage of my obsession oh christ, that's right. I have to beat gmail into shape and figure out what I'm doing that isn't sending my emails. Possibly it's tabbing over and hitting the save draft button instead or something. I really, really hate the new google look. Hate. So much. It's ugly and it makes no sense.
Okay, no, enough bitching. Time to get my ass in gear, I have writing and editing and things to do. And... robot... teddy bears. Oh 80s. You were incredibly surreal sometimes.
