Ick. That didn't go too badly. Three fillings, nothing too dire, but ew. Now my mouth tastes like dentist and fillings and tooth.
I've gone ahead and gotten the Guitar for Dummies so I can look into electric guitar, playing, practicing, etc. Right now it doesn't seem like it would be that hard for me to transition on my own from playing acoustic to playing electric guitar, but since a decent electric guitar and accompanying gear would be a fair outlay of money, I'm waiting on that for a bit. If for no other reason than I may as well see if this whole fascination will stick, or if I'll settle back into jamming with other folk musicians and having sings. Also, trying to figure out where I'd put the damn thing would be interesting in my tinyass apartment. And in a year or so I might be in a house, which would offer significantly more room to store crap.
Debating whether I want to do a Fate at Dragon*Con this year. The short story background of this is that someone advertised on the D*C community several months ago (and by several months I mean sometime last year) about a bunch of Greek deities and whether or not anyone wanted to go, wanted me to join a Facebook comm (which I don't have Facebook), and then we didn't talk for... um. Till now, really. I'd almost forgotten about it until I got a comment or message from her last night asking if I was still interested. What do you think, internets? Am I still interested or should I stick with Cheetara, Silk Spectre, Tron, Faye Valentine, and Abby Sciuto? Keeping in mind that the decent part of Clotho is it's a dress, and I'm in a con hotel. I can throw it on, grab my spindle, and go. ON the other hand, I might be busy hanging out with, flirting with, and glowing at Bruce Boxleitner. If I'm lucky. Decisions decisions.
Hungry. And my face is half numb. This is a dismaying turn of events. And I have a pile of boxes to do, and, and. Moo. I should stop bitching and get to doing what I can, yes? Yes. And stop staring at Jeff Bridges and his guitars. I don't know who I'm lusting after more, the guitarist or the guitar. Bastard has some sexy guitars.
Still need a musicky tag.
