I had the bizarre realization today that I don't think I've ever had an exercise class of any kind without some sort of concluding salutation to/thanking of the teacher. We had it in all the martial arts classes I went to, we have it in ballet. It's just something that's always been there for me. And even now, performing reverence puts a little point on the morning's exercise in my mind, gives a sense of peace and conclusion if only in tiny amounts that I notice when I really pay attention.
(In other exercise related news, after Dragon Con maybe I'll try these exercises again without all this weight strapped to my ankles or in my hands and see how much easier it is. Heh.)
Oof. Lagging a bit already in my writing schedule, which only means that I need to get my ass moving on the two Big Bangs I have yet to draft. My treaty-by-three-way-marriage story still needs a title, which is probably going to end up being Conjunction unless something sounds better. So far there's been a lot of applicable thoughts but nothing that has punch or title-quality, I don't even know how to describe it you guys. You know how some movies and shows have just lame titles and some have titles that just roll off the tongue or stick in the mind? That. Ugh. I might just steal a title at this rate. Not that it's stealing because you can't copyright titles, but there you go.
Yesterday I did the bulk of ALL THE FIBER KITS EVER, which amounts to... did I mention? Yes I did. Enough fiber (1-2 ounces) to spin some of all the fibers we sell. And now I just have to do the tussah silk, the flax, and something else I've now forgotten but it's on my list. So hopefully that goes better, there's only one incoming, and with luck today will be a quiet Friday instead of a crazy Friday. Here's hoping, anyway. I'd dearly love to get some writing in before I deal with the prospect of dinner and a movie.
... and before I run off, Oh holy shit you guys, Fox News is brought to us by the guy who brought us Watergate! Which is a vast oversimplification but damn that made me laugh.
