Christ, at this rate I might as well almost transcribe the damn newspaper. It's probably full of typos, too. Argh.

Okay. Oogh. Somewhat less tired for having gone to bed a little early yesterday. Still not happy with the way I'm not paying so much attention to guitar, which is my own damn fault. We'll see if putting new strings on the thing makes me more inclined to practice, because I also dislike the sound that's coming out of it right now. I keep having to tune it up, which, heh. Is probably a bad sign at least as far as the strings go. On the plus side, I'm still picking out songs with a fair amount of accuracy. The other thing that doesn't help is this cat scratch right underneath the pad of a finger, which, ow. Do not like, especially when playing guitar.

Apparently it's wall-o-nonEnglish day today. At least the wall o' kanji is smaller than the wall o cyrillic, my fingertips are all weird and my wrist at least as much so on my left hand. Stupid guitar.

On the other hand, I did manage to get guitar done tonight, so that went all right. I picked out a couple more notes on Wish You Were here and annoyed myself with C-chords, yay. Stupid damn C-chords. My nails need to be trimmed all the way down and I need way more finger dexterity if I'm going to play a decent damn C-chord. Or a guitar with a narrower neck. Which isn't going to happen, dammit. I didn't hang onto my guitar for ten, fifteen years to give it up now. Also, I know I can play the damn thing, I did it before.

I'd forgotten how quiet the post-Christmas slump is. And I mean, really quiet. We shipped out about three orders today. Woo. And we got some shelves re-stocked and we shipped out a little more than that by mail, so there's that, but, yeesh. I can get some knitting and spinning done anyway. And one of these days I might actually get the yarn further than the door of the craft room. Heh.
