... Thank you, counting terms, now I have that stupid filet-o-fish song stuck in my head.

So, I now have a physical therapist. He seems nice, he is incredibly hyper, but he's patient and tolerant and despite the incredibly hyper appearance and manner, did listen to what I told him and he gave me some exercise to work with into my routine. I get the feeling he approved of my exercise regimen, which, that's always nice. He said that from what it sounds like I injured *coughahem* muscle group, that they just seized up, which is something that can happen, and that I would probably need only a few follow-up sessions to make sure I was healing properly, and most of the things I'm doing are good. Sit-ups are not so much right out as yes, they are bad and probably not as effective as core exercises in and of themselves. (Which. I think that this may mean it's time to break out the bellydancing tapes again.) Push-ups he didn't say as much to, I think because they exercise more of the body and you know when you're doing them effectively. Yoga is good! Do these poses instead of those, is the verdict there. And scoliosis isn't something that comes up again but once in a blue moon once it subsides in childhood. So. Yay for that! I have four follow-up appointment scheduled. I am cleared to wander around the con in high heels, just don't do it for too long and you'd feel it anyway, so, just take it easy. (Which probably actually also means I'm clear to practice) and most of my daily routine is good and well and excellent and go ahead and keep doing it. I have good posture and everything else, and apparently I am "textbook." Which I like much much better than some medical person going "... I've never seen this before! I have no idea what to do with you!"

So, that was my physical therapy. And I came out very noodly. And now I can do an exercise regimen in the morning, which I think is going to more consist of belly-dancing isolations, the PT exercises, weights, and leg exercises. Weights until such time as I go in for my last PT and double check whether or not I can do push-ups, but if I remember right he said six weeks or so. I can do that.

Oogh. Other than that, yeah, it's a Monday. Took the cat to the vet because the boy was worried about his green eye boogies. $120 to tell us that it was probably allergies or herpes (which is apparently closer to mouth herpes in humans in danger/importance) and some drops to put in his eyes twice daily, but he spent half the time hiding in my shirt. The cat, not the boy. I saw a gefilte fish on the way to work, which amused me. I got my Silk Spectre backup costume, so I can start poking at that. Um. Spare room is almost room-like! Instead of a collection of junk surrounded by four walls, a carpet, and a roof. And I accumulated a pile of Sewing Shit To Pass On To Other People. Which now I need to email said Other People about and tell them, hey, you want to be crafty? I have sewing shit for you.

And, um. Squirrels. Hell if I know.
