Ugh. Didn't get as much writing done yesterday as I wanted, on account of there was a price change in a certain kind of yarn we sell. This wound up in an impromptu re-labeling of every damn skein of the yarn that we carry, which took a while. On the plus side, that's all counted and accounted for now! Aaand. Randomly, actually, someone remind me that's something I want to talk with people about. If they have a twitter already, or if I should set up a twitter. I could just start tweeting things like that as they occur. Something. Blah.
I had a moment, too, where I realized that I was starting to make more and more complex sentences in Russian. Not quite a caterpillar moment, more of a holy shit when did I start being able to do this moment. Grammar and clauses and subordinate vs independent and when the hell did I start being able to do this? It's kind of frightening. Definitely frightening. I definitely need to start doing drabbles or just, sentences, something so that I can pull this information more readily out of my brain.
Japanese does not go here today, because I do need to start practicing my kanji. And it'll give me a chance to practice simple/plain form things, too, without boring the snot out of ... all one, maybe two of you who can read the Japanese anyway, but hey! It'll give you guys a break. Maybe I'll post more porn, too. I've still got a few kink bingos to go. Even if my computer is being a shit and deciding that the chip is read-only again. Stupid computer.
God, and now I'm hearing second hand about the fourth Twilight book and all I can say is, hide. Run and hide. I get that people read that and enjoy it for fun and all, but oh my god if anyone tries to convince me that that's a work of great literature I will beat them with the melee weapon of Shakespeare. I don't care if some of Shakespeare's protagonists are just as stupid as Bella, at least not EVERYONE in the damn plays are quite that... I don't even know what. Besides, it's a good melee weapon, a complete works of Shakespeare. Only thing better would be a Norton. (Anthology of English Literature, that is.)
Anyway. Blah. Thank god it's Friday. Monday I have a dentist appointment, which should though hopefully just be jamming a permanent crown on my poor tooth. And making an appointment to get my last two wisdom teeth yanked. So much do not want there, but hopefully that'll be done and then I'll have no more wisdom and I won't be a good Monk, but there you go. No more weirdass dentist stuff either. Right. Dragging myself off to work now. Which wouldn't be so bad except the damn heat and mugginess. Sigh.
I have no idea who's revving their engine in the parking lot but it makes me want to hurt them a lot.
