I will say, watching A Chorus Line again makes me remember why I wanted to be a dancer. That shit is just plain cool.

Russian, and it actually looks like it's a nice day so I will get to go run errands today. I will be glad when Nano gets here because I am getting royally sick of doing the prep work. Next time, I start prepping TWO months in advance. At least. Guh.

German early. And I think I've figured out one of my problems about German. The exercises are structured so that there's very little repetition in what you've learned, whereas the exercises in the Russian book, whether accidentally or on purpose, are structured so that what you've learned repeats later on in the chapter.

Which means I should probably take longer in German and at least take stock of what I've learned already at the end of each chapter. Oogh.

Anyway.

Random other family stuff. We're watching the Great Pumpkin on TV. When I was little, my Dad made me take piano lessons for two years. (Guitar went over much better. I also suffered through a couple violin lessons, although my teacher probably suffered more.) I learned how to play a lot of Christmas carols, though. And I learned how to play part of the Charlie Brown theme. My Dad used to play it for me, and then he'd try and show me how to play it. That never worked very well, so I usually wound up only playing one small part and then he'd play the rest of it. I loved that, as a kid.
