Oct. 23rd, 2009 09:11 am… I have surprisingly little writing stuff to do today. That's kind of nice and refreshing. Also I went to bed hella early last night, again, which hopefully will contribute to the feeling better.
Grandpa had his procedure yesterday, and he feels better and is doing very well according to the doctors. He's going home today, where home means home with aunt B. He'll stay there for a few days, I imagine, just to make sure nothing else happens. But that is more than a bit of a relief right there. Thank you, everyone, for all your hugs and good wishes. Hopefully this will get him about as much better as a man of his age can be. Great-grandma, his mother, lived to be in her early 90s and was still driving and doing organizational charity work and things right up until the day she passed, so hopefully it runs in the family.
And now, Russian!
