Today's just the day of random.

First of all, I'm not working today. The person who usually works front counter Saturday is out of town this weekend, so the Aunt unit asked me if I could cover Saturday and take Thursday off, since Thursday is our most-staffed day. So I said sure, so I'm off today. My tasks for today will be cleaning and writing, further detailed below.

Then, the moment I get up and log on to check whether or not I had dreamed that Mitya's baby brother had Twitted me about Russian lessons, I get asked to help with a Spanish translation. Somehow I managed to wire my brain not only for speech/type, but for speech/type in Spanish. I think I even managed to be helpful. My morning routine kind of went off, partly due to the lack of motivation to do things on time 'cause of not having to leave at X time, but I'm still managing somehow.

Then, the doctor's office calls while I'm in the shower brushing my teeth. Going through my morning cleaning routine, that's a better if unconventional and kind of awkward phrase for it. Something. Anyway, the doctor's office called, my tests are all normal except my alkaline phosphates are a bit off? What the hell does that mean? I need to look that up on WebMD now, that is, if my excellent friends' list doesn't know any more than I do. Anyway, other than that I'm healthy. Cholesterol, blood chemistry, blah.

I think that's it for the morning weirdness? I meant to post more about it but didn't manage it. So, I guess, the to-do list for today:
