[Tarot] Ace of Wands

Russian Tarot
It's a mace! A heavenly mace! Or maybe the hammer of inspiration? *awaits the inevitable* A hand coming out from the clouds with a mace in its grip, a tree with some sort of yellow-orange fruit, and a castle in the distance. Interesting that the staves, which in some decks are more like vaguely flowering walking sticks (I'm looking at you, Rider-Waite) are weapons, in this one.

Spiral Tarot
The hand is made of clouds, rather than coming out of a cloud. EIther a sunrise or a sunset, I choose to believe a sunset, with no sun. The sky is gold, the clouds and hand are anywhere between orange and red, and the grass is grean below. The cloud appears to be showering drops of water onto the staff, which is green and flowering at the top. The leaves/petals rise up to meet the rain.

Crow's Magick Tarot
Apparently in this deck feathers = wants. Over a gold rectangle/red rectangle of abstract art. With a lightning bolt.

I'm not entirely sure why the Crow's Magick says 'success, rule.' That, to me, implies things that have already been acheived. The ace is a card of beginnings.

The start of enterprises kind of dovetails with the ace of coins, but while the ace of coins represents financial and material matters, this could just as easily mean the beginning of a non-profit website or a creative archive. Something that requires both organization and inspiration. Heh. The start of Courtesan School, for example. "I am on a great adventure."

Okay, maybe not that, that was Harold Lauder, if I remember right, but you get the idea.

And lo. I was a lemming.

I also was a dumbass who could not apparently figure out that the cuisinart is for solids, and the blender is for liquids. Which resulted in an embarrassing mess all over my kitchen that I just barely managed to clean up before the boy got home. (This is, by the way, only embarrassing if the boy finds out. If the whole internet finds out it doesn't matter.)

Anyway. I now have a) a full tummy from dinner, the recipe for which will be up shortly because I told Lor I would, b) a full pot of garbanzo bean soup for lunch now.

No German tonight, on further thought. I am just not awake enough for it. Astrid, and then bed. Or, well, writing in general, and then bed.

Oh. And my findyourwords goal is 730,000 for anyone who cares. Yes, it's low for me. But it's do-able.
