Russian Tarot
A family (the tarot court family?) sits behind eight coins. All of the family members are looking to the side or center of the group, which is the father, and he is looking at the coins. This may or may not be significant. They are all dressed in what appears to be finery; the men (father and eldest son) are wearing purple, the lady is wearing green and the child is wearing red-edged gold. The remaining two coins are set in the centermost highest tower of the house behind them and in the lefthand tower window.

The Spiral Tarot
A family, man, woman, and three children, sit in a field of roses. Above them are another family, presumably their parents. Of note, or maybe not, is that the topmost person in the family is always the mother. Above them is another family, in clearly older dress, presumably the grandparents. The roses become more faded to black and white as the picture progresses into the past. The coins are scattered to either side of the family.

Crow's Magick Tarot
The coins are evenly spaced, five and five, above and below a series of gold... glyphs. Two birds and two cats (a lion and a something not a lion) are on the corners, the center could be... a mountain range. A demented Kokopelli. I'm really not sure.

The Spiral Tarot says that the tens belong to the Wheel of Fortune, and thus symbolize an ending. Again, the Spiral and the Russian Tarot bear that out a little more clearly. The Spiral is probably the clearest for me; the generations of the family with the coins scattered between them. The inheritance of a family is not always wealth, sometimes it is the ability to recognize treasure and accumulate/hold onto wealth. Sometimes the treasure of a family is equally in the age as well as in the materials that make it up. This card seems to represent a strong family background, a strong support network both materially (roof over the head and food on the table) and emotionally.

It's interesting to note that this card seems to come more naturally to me, possibly because of my own background, which is one of familial stability (and the occasional financial assistance, I will say) and warmth. Safety and generations and ancestry... four generations, now, as my cousin has become the first of my generation to sire (or bear) a child! So, there it is. Almost done with the coins!
