Aug. 21st, 2006 07:52 pmIf I become even the slightest bit famous, this is going to get really funky.
Okay. People! Decide the outcome of my writing career.
1) Should I submit something to Marvel? A friend at work who has a friend in the industry says Marvel is hiring new writers. Which means that eventually the competition will be hiring writers too, but. The upside is that, writing! And I've read Marvel comics. The downside is that this is comic writing, which I'venever rarely done. Despite the existance of
fourpagecomics, which is languishing under the rulership of its co-mod while I'm sticking my head in the Maui.
2) Should I continue to try and work on Dragons, the project that I started to be comparable to Kelley Armstrong/Kim Harrison/Laurell K Hamilton/this Raven chick I've been seeing on local bookshelves, etc? Or should I just let it go and concentrate on the ones people have shown an interest in.
3)There was a three, and fuckifIcan remember it now. I remembered! And it was a three and a four! Three, should I code myself a quick author's web page tomorrow and if so, what should be on it?
4) Should I print up my papers (ish) on the Arcana and take them to Maui for shits and giggles? Because with me and Bria there, I have the sneaking suspicion that at some point I'm going to start talking about the Arcana, and it would probably give me at least a little more cred to be able to whip out some papers and go "A-HA! I smoke the scholarly crack!"
